You may have noticed that your water smells like chlorine lately. We purchase our water from Texarkana Water Utilities, and TWU is performing a temporary conversion of the disinfectant used in the water treatment process. This temporary conversion will end around August 23, 2021. The water is safe to drink, and the conversion is an annual event that helps to keep the water safe to drink. A list of frequently asked questions and answers will be posted on TWU's website at twu.txkusa.org. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Carrie McCreery at 903-832-1691 or email email@example.com.
If you are moving to an existing residence in this area and need the water/sewer account transferred to your name we will need the following: Service Application, copy of lease agreement, copy of drivers license, and deposit. There is a $75.00 deposit at water only residences and a $150.00 deposit at residences that have water and sewer. Please call the Water Office at 903-832-1691 to determine which deposit will be owed. There is an additional $10.00 service charge for setting up the account.
